The Raid — Royal Academy Summer Exhibition

Very pleased to have The Raid selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in London. At 50 × 60 cm it is a relatively small painting, although, as usual, I have tried to squeeze rather a lot into it. The Summer Exhibition is a wonderfully unruly gathering of work in every medium and scale, and it is always a pleasure to see a painting of mine find its place there. Even better, The Raid has sold and will be heading to a new home. My thanks to the selectors and the enormous team who make the exhibition happen each year.
