I started lecturing part time at Oxford Brookes University in 2005 and also rented a studio space at Magdalen Road Studios and proceeded to paint every evening, weekend and day off. In early 2006 I worked on a new series of painting for the Sarah Wiseman Gallery based on my meanderings around Oxford and its iconic canals, university buildings and quiet and polite societies and cultures.
